It’s Veteran’s Day, and we spent the morning listening to the sounds of the parade drift through our office windows.

We, too, want to recognize soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines of color—people like Ira Hayes, Robert Smalls, and countless fathers, uncles, and grandfathers.
