During this one-hour webinar, you’ll learn about new picture books, chapter books, and young adult titles about everyone, for everyone. You’ll also hear from picture book illustrator Cheryl Thuesday (Edie for Equality) and young adult author Kimm Topping (Generation Queer: Stories of Youth Organizers, Artists, and Educators).
All those in attendance during the live presentation on September 26 will be automatically entered for a chance to win a set of Advanced Reader Copies (ARCs) of our Spring 2025 middle grade and young adult novels:

Cheryl is an illustrator originally from London and who grew up in New Jersey. Her art style and love of vibrant colors are heavily influenced by her Caribbean and Asian heritage. Kimm is a writer, educator, historian, and artist. As the founder of Lavender Education, they lead a national program that celebrates LGBTQIA+ history through arts and education. Generation Queer is Kimm’s first full-length book and is the first collection of illustrated biographies about LGBTQIA+ youth activists. You can learn more about Kimm at kimmtopping.com.
An email with the Zoom link to access the webinar will be sent the day before the live event and then again an hour before the start time.
