Della Ross Ferreri was born in Poughkeepsie, New York. She enjoys writing stories for young readers and also works part-time as a French teacher. Margaret Lindmark

Margaret Lindmark was born in San Jose, California, and spent part of her childhood in El Salvador. Since then she has traveled to many Spanish-speaking countries, including Mexico, Costa Rica, Venezuela, and Peru. Margaret is a full-time illustrator. She lives with her husband in Greenbrae, California.
